Good value on the visitors here:

An important game for both teams; The Flyers are 1-5-1 while the Habs are 1-3-2 since March 20th.

Philadelphia is coming off a 6-4 humbling loss to the Islanders yesterday, and I believe they'll be somewhat gassed this evening and ultimately that will be the difference.

Montreal is coming off a loss of its own, 2-1 to Carolina on Wednesday.

This is the first game of a back-to-back for Montreal; suffice to say I expect a huge effort from the Habs before their game with the Sabres tomorrow.

Both teams are struggling in most ATS statistical categories, but this is a spot that Montreal has done well in all year, and I expect that trend to continue this evening; 21-17 (+8.7 units) revenging a loss vs. an opponent (Philly won back-to-back games on Feb 12th and 13th in a home-and-home affair).

Consider a second look at Montreal tonight.

Take the Wizards +4.

The Wizards aren’t very good, but they should not be getting points in this spot. They snapped a 16-game losing streak in New Orleans on Wednesday, and have actually covered five of their last nine games.

Washington’s home ATS mark of 12-24 is cause for concern, but the Bulls’ 14-23 away ATS mark is little better.

Chicago remains two games out of a playoff spot in the East, and management would be just as happy with a lottery pick.

The teams split two close games this year, with the Wizards covering both.

Take the Wizards. Best of luck, DC.

FREE Friday NBA Play: (509) NEW ORLEANS HORNETS VS (510) MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES.
Take: over the total.
Reason: Hornets/Grizzlies Over the total. Some may point to injuries as the biggest reason New Orleans was such a disappointment this season, but the real story is defense. The Hornets have slipped badly, allowing 102.4 ppg -- 21st in the NBA. Even more embarrassing is the 48% field goal shooting they allow, third worst in the league ahead of the Nets and Warriors. With a lost season winding down for them, they are packing it in defensively even more, on a 3-2 run over the total. The young Grizzlies are no defensive dynamo, either, on a 3-0 run over the total (all losses) allowing 128, 108 and 106 points. Look for an offensive show, Play the Hornets/Grizzlies Over the total.

Tough spot here for the Orlando Magic who come in off a monster win at Dallas last night. San Antonio is playing its best basketball of the season, winning 12 of its last 16 entering the week. Included in that run were wins over Eastern Conference contenders, Cleveland and Boston. The Spurs are without Tony Parker, but George Hill has stepped in nicely at the point in his absence and Manu Ginobili has slid back into the starting lineup. Ginobili has averaged 28.2 ppg in his last five games, including 16-of-38 behind the arc as he gears up for the playoffs. The Spurs also have a nice revenge motive in this one after losing in Orlando 110-84 back on March 17th. While Orlando’s second seed status isn’t technically 100 percent secure, they own a comfortable 4.5 game lead over third place Atlanta. On the flip side, San Antonio is in a dogfight with half the Western Conference as playoff seeding remains up in the air. Take the home side in this Friday tilt.

Comp Winner: Youtube Video (60% last 2 months) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VxKxHK6wtM

4 Unit Play. #516. Take the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />San Antonio Spurs -3 over the Orlando Magic (Friday @ 8:30pm est). We've been on the Spurs during their hot streak and there is no reason to get off that hot streak now. San Antonio continues to roll along nicely as they have finally hit their stride it seems. This team has won 45 games this year which is a surprise considering how they started off this year in a very lackadaisical fashion and frankly lack of identity. But, two key things happened. Richard Jefferson got into the mix and flow much more and the emergence of George Hill. Tack on the fact that Man got healthy, and Bang, you have a contender in the Spurs. The Spurs have revenge from an embarrassing loss to this Magic team earlier this year when they 84-110 earlier this month and you better believe they remember that loss very well. Plus, I love the fact that the Magic come off a big win over the Mavs yesterday as we were on the Under in that game which cashed easily, but we were also on the Magic for our comp selection via the youtube video which also cashed easily. Now, look for the Magic to have a let down here as certainly the public bought into that win, but this is a prime spot for a let down and the Spurs to get their revenge. Remember, the Spurs just beat Houston by 17 at home (we were on this game as well for the 5* Gotw) and beat the Cavs by five. I certainly think they are capable of beating Orlando here and getting their respective revenge as Coach Pop will have them up and ready to go. Past champions do not take lightly when they get spanked by 26 points on the road and they will look to return the favor today and do note that the Spurs are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games as a home favorite, and the Magic are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games as Vegas typically knows what they are doing when they set this team as an Underdog.

His 6* GOTW has gotta be on Butler, especially with the line movement..
